13 Ways To Improve Call Of Duty 2015

4. Develop It For PS4, XBO & PC Only

Two Call of Duty games have now been released on new-gen consoles, but both of these titles have also been released on old-gen platforms, the PS3 and Xbox 360. As such, it feels like the need to cater to these consoles is likely holding the series back from its true potential in terms of graphics and gameplay mechanics. How long Activision will insist on keeping the games coming out for old-gen tech remains to be seen (probably at least one more), but if they want to encourage progress and franchise innovation, these old ports really need to go. All they do is strong-arm developers into dumbing the game down on superior technology because they know they have to somehow try and make it work on older platforms. Still, given how early it is in the eighth generation of gaming, and how well the old-gen versions of CoD continue to sell, Activision wouldn't dare leave their behind-the-times customers in the dark.
