One prominent problem that has persisted throughout every single CoD game is that there's just not much incentive to keep playing the multiplayer mode once you reach Prestige Mode and press the reset button on your level. All that's available to players is to restart from level 1 and use double XP weekends to quickly climb back to 50, before rinsing and repeating. What Treyarch needs to do with the next game is take a page out of Titanfall's book, by rewarding players who persevere with Prestiging again and again. How would this work? Titanfall rewards players by making each Regeneration (the game's version of Prestige) take slightly less time than the one that came before, such that each one feels like less of a slog than the previous. This would be a great way to make CoD's multiplayer progression feel less repetitive, and perhaps stop people just playing for a few days, prestiging, and then never really playing the game much again (except on double XP weekends, of course).
