10. Bayonetta 2
Rejoice, Wii U owners! There's actually a few games coming out for the console this year, and those who played the original Bayonetta will know that a sequel's something to get excited about. An exclusive for the Wii U, Bayonetta 2 is set to continue the absolute bonkers action we saw in the first one. If you're unfamiliar with the series, Bayonetta is about an over-the-top sassy witch of the same name who uses her hair to make clothes and create giant monsters/weaponry to kill angels for reasons I forget. It makes no sense, but the pacing and unique take on combat made the original a surprise hit when it was released a few years back. My only concern for this one is the target demographic; with Nintendo basically focused on kids and the family-friendly demographic, is a gory, sexy and stylish beat-em-up really at home on the Wii U? I'm a Wii U owner myself and am really hoping Nintendo gets its head out of its backside with their games, but Bayonetta 2 isn't going to be the saving grace of this console. It's a shame really, as this could easily be one of the surprise hits of 2014 if it was available to a wider audience.
