11. Assassin's Creed V/Spin-Off?
After a severely poor showing with Assassin's Creed III and its endlessly-dull protagonist, the long-running historical-come-sci-fi-nonsense epic that is Assassin's Creed got firmly back on track last year with the frankly pretty good ACIV: Black Flag. Just like Call of Duty, you can guarantee we'll get an Assassin's Creed game this year. If it's anything as good as the last game, which had great exploration, ship combat and looked extremely good on next-gen, this year's game could be something very special indeed. It's unknown at this point which period of history we'll be visiting in the next game. We don't even know yet if it'll be a direct numbered sequel, or will instead be a spin-off like we had with Brotherhood and Revelations. I'm pretty confident we've seen the last of Edward Kenway for the moment though. The next entry should really deal with what actually happened at the end of ACIII and visit a truly exciting locale. Feudal Japan and samurais and stuff anyone?
