14 Most Hotly Anticipated Gaming Sequels Of 2014

6. Super Smash Bros.

41 Super Smash Bros Brawl Does Smash Bros actually even make sense? Do we care? Nope! This year will see a cast of Nintendo characters, along with a few cameos including good old Megaman, doing battle in the first HD outing the Smash Bros series. After the phenomenal success of SSMB: Brawl on the Wii (one of the console's highlights in my opinion), a sequel was always going to be inevitable for Nintendy's next console. But wait! This game is going to be released on both the Wii U and 3DS, with unique elements available on each of the specific consoles such as cell-shaded graphics for 3DS and different stages on each platform. No cross-platform play unfortunately due to the different natures of the games, but you can port across your character customisations should you choose to play on the go on your 3DS/2DS. Who's looking forward to playing as the Wii Fit dude or dudette? Anyone? You at the back? No, you're just scratching your nose.
