14 Most BROKEN Video Games Of The Decade

3. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5

A game pumped out to - you guessed it - squeeze some more money out of an existing fandom, THPS5 was finally the next numbered instalment in the Pro Skater franchise since 2002, but it also only existed because Activision were about to lose the Tony Hawk's license.

Set to expire in 2015, that meant developers Robomodo had to throw extra coal on the fires and forge a game from next to nothing, ultimately reusing a ton of assets and the game engine from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD, which itself was gut-punchingly disappointing.

THPS 5 was a wreck. Characters would fall through the floor, tricks wouldn't trigger, grinds could bounce off walls, but most hilariously, often your skater would just launch right off the ground, a good few feet into the sky... for no reason.

Indicative of just how many IPs and fandoms were abused in the name of profit these past 10 years, THPS left gaming as a joke.
