14 Most Overrated Video Games Of 2015

11. Game Of Thrones

MetaCritic Score: 64-69 What It Deserved: 55 Telltale have enjoyed tremendous success with their The Walking Dead episodic series, and they've proven with the likes of The Wolf Among Us and Tales from the Borderlands that they're no one trick pony...but sadly not everything they make is quite up to the same standard. Game of Thrones is all the more disappointing because it seems like such a rich universe to translate into the episodic video game medium. Sadly, it's hampered by atrocious graphics (even for the fairly forgiving standards of these games), forced cameos from the series' characters, more transparent choices, and a narrative that's far more difficult to get invested in than Telltale's usual fare. Perhaps it's because the TV show is so well-written compared to something like The Walking Dead that our expectations are automatically higher, but even the fairly mixed reviews for this game ultimately felt like they let it off lightly. From the presentation to the slack narrative, it just didn't excite and intrigue in the same way that the studio's very best series have so far. Strictly for die-hard Thrones fans, but even then, you probably won't get that much out of it.
