9. Soulcalibur VI Is Coming 2018

The much-anticipated sixth entry into the Soulcalibur franchise was finally confirmed during the show, almost six long years after the previous game was released.

Quite why it's taken so long to even announce the next game is anyone's guess, but the brief trailer showed off some visually stunning fighting, while Cassandra's, ahem, voluptuous presence seemed to confirm that the series won't be toning down its trademark sexualisation of female characters much at all. Opinion's sure to be heavily divided on that.

Soulcalibur VI will release sometime next year to coincide with the series' 20th anniversary, but no, there was no confirmation of a Switch version, sadly.
