8. Fade To Silence Is THQ Nordic's New Survival Game

THQ Nordic announced their new survival game, Fade to Silence, which enters early access on December 14th.

The game will unfold amid "the cold and deadly world of an apocalyptic winter", as protagonist Ash attempts to survive not only the elements, but also some supernatural, ghostly tormentors.

In addition to weather playing a huge role in the game, the developer has described it as a "group survival experience", where players can opt to help fellow survivors or turn against them.

It's always smart to measure your hype for early access games, but if this nails the chilly, bleak tone it's clearly shooting for, it could be a pleasantly surprising late arrival at the end of the year.
