14 Ways E3 2018 Will Impact The Future Of Gaming

Everyone was a little disappointed to hear that Sony was only going to focus on four exclusive games this year. Considering the upcoming roster, fans were worried that their favourite title was going to get brushed under the rug and the show would feel empty.

Having the most games was always a good thing in previous years, but Sony defied that and honed in on four of their titles, giving in-depth game-play trailers and discussions of these titles. However, it doesn't matter what they showed, but rather the response their new formula got.

Everyone much preferred the detailed deep dives and the response to Sony's conference has hopefully set a precedent. Having solid games and showing detailed game-play, story elements and actually taking the time with each game is what wins gamers over.

Hopefully, next year will be more of this.
