15 Best Moments In The Uncharted Series

12. Escaping The Cruise Ship (Drake's Deception)

Aesthetically and mechanically, the sinking cruise ship in Uncharted 3 is probably the most imaginative set-piece of the entire series. Making your way onto the vessel after fighting your way through an eerie ship graveyard, you're tasked with finding your footing within the massive cruise-liner and figuring out a way to get yourself back to dry land.

For the most part it's a rather quiet section, only requiring you to take out a few rooms of goons while you're making your way through the otherwise desolate ship. But it's a memorable sequence because of how much it relies on its spectacle platforming, which is constantly varied and intense as the ship itself provides an ever-changing environment as it suffers more and more damage.

Uncharted 3 is often ridiculed by fans for not having any moments that top the brilliant second game, yet this sinking cruise ship is one of the most inventive and original sections of the entire series.
