Bethesda's most accomplished work to date is easily one of the greatest RPGs of all time, with Skyrim's vast mountainous highs and goblinesque Falmer-infested lows bringing to life a world you'll end up spending days in regardless of your intent. Where to even begin describing the amount of things that were totally nailed? Oblivion had almost got there back in 2006 with its (at the time) jaw-dropping visuals and 'see that? Go there!' gameplay design. Still, it was Skyrim that brought about a more weighty combat system, some truly amazing Dragon Shout abilities, a graphical kick big enough to truly make everything that little bit more immersive and believable, and a dragon-filled main quest-line that even if you didn't have the time to do everything on offer still meant you came away with plenty tales worth telling. It's no surprise that three years later there remains a diehard community surrounding every facet of Tamriel, and with 2016 being the penned-in year for Elder Scrolls VI, surely there'll be some teasers dropping later this year about what's to come?
