15 Essential Video Games Worth Buying A PlayStation 4 For
13. Until Dawn

Nobody expected Until Dawn to be the breakout success it snowballed into.
Supermassive Games had billed it as an interactive survival horror and Sony had given it ample screen time at various pressers in an effort to build hype, but nobody could quite shake the feeling that what we'd ultimately be getting when release day came was a slightly scarier version of Telltale's The Walking Dead series.
Not that such a result would have been a bad thing, but why settle for something derivative when the potential for innovation exists?
Fortunately, what we ended up with was a pastiche of contemporary horror that, while genuinely unnerving at points, knew when not to take itself too seriously, finding the perfect tonal balance exactly when needed. Great fun.
