15 Hardest Video Game Achievements Of 2017 (So Far)
10. Mile High Club - Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered
It's back. One of the most infamous achievements of all time is back thanks to the Modern Warfare Remaster. Technically speaking the remaster released alongside Infinite Warfare back in 2016, locked behind the Deluxe Edition no one wanted. However, it's standalone release happened this year, letting it slink right onto this list by way of technicality.
At this point, everyone knows what exactly this achievement entails - you must complete the Mile High Club mission on Veteran in under 60 seconds. It requires pinpoint accuracy and a third-eye to know where and when every single enemy is going to pop up.
There's no time to catch your breath, and it's a constant sprint from beginning to end as you get peppered with bullets and have a constant state of jelly screen. It's not easy, it's never been easy, and it certainly hasn't gotten easier.
There's no doubt many of you had tried and failed to earn this on the Xbox 360, and a select few of you actually pulled it off. On the 360 the achievement only has a 3.13% unlock rate, and it's been ten years. With the remaster, it's sitting at a 0.55% unlock rate, so it's safe to say it hasn't gotten easier to unlock by any means.
