15. Hunter's Essence - Bloodborne

The Dark Souls/Bloodborne collective fanbase are some of the most devoted to a good ol' fashioned gaming challenge around, but even they've been struggling with this one. To get the Hunter's Essence trophy you 'simply' need to obtain all 25 weapons in the game. "Easy", you might think, but you'll swiftly realise that 1. A bunch of them are in incredibly hard-to-reach places considering the game's already brutal difficulty, and 2. Three of which (Burial Blade, Flamesprayer and Blade of Mercy) are optional, depending on specific paths or choosing to spare/kill certain characters, meaning you'll have to replay the entire game to flesh out the other side of the coin. There's also the fact that each of these weapons comes with a price, totalling a hefty 300,000 Blood Echoes. You'd be better off spending these on your character's attributes to avoid being skewered to death in any number of challenging sections across the various levels, and therein lies the gore-soaked rub.
