10. Sharing Is Caring - Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
Thought Ubisoft's Uplay service couldn't be any more annoying? Well, they tied it directly to a trophy, meaning if you haven't signed up for an account and aren't logged in (which can happen a lot, being their servers are about as reliable as the AC games themselves these days), you simply can't trigger this trophy at all. The way it's supposed to go, is when you're gallivanting about around the Caribbean, the game should randomly spawn three 'social events'; a white whale, a Royal Convoy of ships and a social chest. The stickler is, not only can these things be anywhere on the gargantuan game map, but all three have to be shared socially on Uplay as you discover them, all on the same profile. If you come across something and you're not signed in, tough luck - that's your chance over and done with. Perhaps a server hiccup prevented something from synching even though you were? Again, no going back. It doesn't feel like Ubi really thought this one through to be honest, and Sharing is Caring remains one of the rarest trophies of them all because of it.
