15 Lies The Fallout Games Taught Us About The Real World
10. Karma Is Real, But People Forgive You For Anything Very Easily
Karma isn't just religious belief. It's real, and it not only affects your daily life, but the perceptions of those around you. Do bad things, and bad things might happen back to you. What goes around comes around and all that. If you do good things, like kill zombies or feed a homeless man's water addiction, you'll be treated as a literal messiah in life. Do bad things, and no matter who's around to witness the act, you'll get yours, probably. That's okay though, because redemption is possible for everyone. Giving to charity a few times more than makes up for nuking a town. The real world has to work the same way, right? Stigmatisation is always short lived and easily forgotten, so long as you do the right thing. What's the saying? Nice guys finish first?
Ken was born in 1994, and before the turn of the century, he was already a gamer for life, starting with Pokémon Blue Version. He has a passion for storytelling, especially in the gaming medium. Growing up on a healthy diet of JRPGs and point and click adventure games, young Kenny grew up playing Nintendo and Sony consoles, before becoming a snobby member of the PC Master Race. Nowadays, he resides in a time warp, refusing to believe the nineties ended as he fills up his Steam library with old point and clicks and cRPGs.
