15 Most Hated PS4 Games So Far
5. Every Month's PS Plus Games
"Is it gonna be good? Is it? D'argh it's another 2D pixel shooter. Dammit. Pack it up boys, we're gonna have to come back next month."
Such is the way every month's rollout come and goes, as although I've gone into detail as to why Sony are so complacent at the top of the console pile, it doesn't help that almost every month the 'free games' barely feel worth the £40 we drop on them to maintain our PS Plus subscriptions.
There's a fine line between sounding entitled and wanting some bang for your buck, but across the last year especially, Microsoft have upped their game and released the likes of Sunset Overdrive, Tomb Raider and tons of landmark Xbox 360 games for free, whereas Sony are more content to drop Xenodrifter (seen above), Tricky Towers or 'The Deadly Tower of Monsters.'
And PlayStation Now? Yeah, don't expect any discounts for that, either.
There's nothing wrong with these games necessarily, but the misalignment of expectations for a premium service vs. what we keep getting given has turned every monthly reveal into a laughing stock.
