Oh you've procured a Courser outfit, fancy piece of Raider armour or a damn fine tuxedo? Good luck wearing it and not getting ventilated within seconds, as although you can play dress-up with any set of NPC clothing, it's better for your character to simply mix and match instead. You'll end up with a cobbled-together mix of dirty army helmets, designer sunglasses (to help with Charisma, pro tip!), torn clothing with poison-resist bonuses - and a general look of someone who fell into a pile of garbage without cleaning themselves off, all in the pursuit of surviving for a few seconds longer, should the need arise. But hey - those shades mean you can wow any vendor you come across. Re-sult.
