15 Upcoming Games To Make An Xbox One Worth Buying
5. Fable Legends
In fairness, the Fable series hasn't had a solid release since 2010's Fable III, and everyone knows how disappointing Peter Molyneux's games tend to be, yet there's still something compelling about the latest entry into the series, an ambitious game that could go either way, though will hopefully live up to its promise. Set almost half a millennium before the original Fable game, Legends is a co-operative multiplayer title in which four players must team up, while a fifth player controls the villain. a God-like character who can decide which enemies spawn and where, and must employ strategy to attempt to separate the heroes and pick them off one by one. It may lack the traditional Fable style to a point, but at least it attempts to do something different with the relatively formulaic nature of the franchise, and if the villain mechanic in particular is successful, this could help reinvigorate the series in a meaningful way.
