15 Upcoming Games You NEED To Know About

1. Star Wars: Zero Company

Electronic Arts

Even if you have Star Wars fatigue, this is one of those perfect collaborations that supersedes all of that.

A Star Wars turn-based strategy from the former developers of XCOM? Set at the height of the Clone Wars? This is what literal dreams are made of.

Unfortunately, we’ve not seen any actual gameplay yet but the team are saying all the right things in interviews (“gameplay is first”) and hands-on previews of the game seem very optimistic. Press outlets have expressed how, like XCOM, Zero Company’s gameplay is perfect for emergent story-telling and it shows the elegance and brutality of the underbelly of Star Wars’ space opera world.

Couple this with recent word that says the game has deep character customisation for your squad so that you’ll feel even more immersed, and it sounds like Zero Company is going to get its hooks into you with ease.

At the time of writing, the game is expected to make its debut in 2026. That said, Star Wars Day is just around the corner so fingers crossed we’ll get a release date.
