15 Upcoming Games You NEED To Know About

2. Bradley the Badger

Day 4 Night

Oh, the humble 3D platformer, where did you go?Several have tried to fill the void left when the franchise fell out of vogue in the 2000s, but outside of Astro Bot very few have made a big splash.

Bradley the Badger seems to be both hanging a lampshade on that as well as swinging for the fences, especially with its Hollywood casting of Evan Peters (X-Men, American Horror Story) as the plucky protagonist. Bradley explores various worlds inspired by other video games like Badgerborne and Cyberbadger with a wealth of game-breaking powers at his disposal.

Drawing a sense of humour akin to Banjo-Kazooie, Bradley can use the game’s engine to manipulate unfinished assets, changing their scale and properties to platform his way to safety,

Truly, one of the highlights of last year’s Game Awards when it comes to games with charm.

Bradley the Badger is scheduled for a PC release this year, with developers Day 4 Night exploring console options.
