15 Video Games Everyone Expected To See At E3 2018
6. Borderlands 3
The last main Borderlands game was released all the way back in 2012, and Gearbox Software confirmed they were beginning production on Borderlands 3 in 2015. So, where the hell is it?
Well, an Unreal Engine 4 tech demo featuring Borderlands 3 was revealed at GDC in March 2017, but beyond that, we've heard not a peep. Even though Gearbox CEO and co-founder Randy Pitchford himself confirmed a few weeks ago that the game wouldn't be at E3, that didn't stop fans still hoping to see it.
It would've been a killer addition to either Sony or Microsoft's conferences, but no dice. It'd be a surprise if we went all of 2018 without seeing the game, but weren't we all thinking that last year too?
