Developer Playdead are quite the bunch of sick puppies, as not only was Limbo a dour tale of dead children and creepy-crawlies (that spider... urgh), but now Inside is another window into their brilliantly depraved minds.

Telling the tale of a young boy who gets sucked into what appears to be a very large industrial factory for mindless human worker drones (so far, so Britain post-Brexit), light puzzle elements and a need to suss out exactly what's going on will drive you to one hell of a conclusion.

There's a good reason Inside has been getting straight 5 star ratings from all and sundry; its presentation is genuine flawless, its gameplay superb and its overall comment on societal oppression both ugly and powerful.
