One for the upcoming list, Scalebound got delayed in 2017 to allow developers Platinum room to breathe, being they've been releasing games left, right and centre this past year.

Removed from adapting the lores that Michael Bay has ruined (Transformers and TMNT both got 90s cartoon titles after their respective movies), Scalebound will be their next original IP, letting you play as a Dante-like sword-swinger atop your pet dragon, Thuban.

So far it looks like the whole thing is a combination of open-world RPG mechanics including stat-grinding, loot boxes and crafting, and third-person hack n' slash combat, which has become the studio's signature trait.

If they can make a world as inviting as Skyrim with combat as addictively fun as Bayonetta and have you team up with a whopping great dragon for special moves? Count.me.IN.
