Although last year's A Machine for Pigs divided fans of the original thanks to a more sparse HUD and the removal of a certain mechanic that forced you out of the shadows and into the path of enemies, for Dark Descent these things were in full effect. Developed by Frictional Games - the guys who you might know from the cult-classic Penumbra titles - Amnesia was one of a handful of titles that ushered in the first-person horror revolution we're now seeing everywhere from P.T. to Alien: Isolation.
