17 Video Games Missing From E3 2016
1. The Last Of Us 2
When a game is as ridiculously successful and acclaimed as The Last of Us, you know that a sequel's probably on the way. Naughty Dog have been hesitant to flat-out confirm the game, but it's known that planning and prototyping has taken place. Plus, now that Uncharted 4 has shipped, the team is presumably freed up to devote more resources to the title.
Expecting gameplay at this year's E3 would've been silly, but even the mere confirmation of its existence would've been enough to satisfy most. We got nothing, and though it's understandable, it's hard not to be a little disappointed, greedy gamers that we are.
When Will We See It?: Naughty Dog deliberate over their games and the result is always a polished final product, so a teaser trailer at next year's E3 is possible, but don't expect to see any gameplay until perhaps another conference late in 2017, before the big E3 stage reveal in 2018, possibly for a late 2018 or early 2019 release.
