17 Video Games Missing From E3 2016
12. A New Crash Bandicoot PS4
In fairness, E3 was pretty good to Crash Bandicoot this year: it was finally announced that the original Crash trilogy will get a ground-up remastering for release next year, and for those few who care, he's also appearing in an upcoming Skylanders game for the PS4.
But... what about an original Crash game for the PS4? After all, rebuilding near-20-year-old games from the ground-up could result in a jarring end product, whereas a new game designed with current gaming mechanics in mind should theoretically be much smoother.
When Will We See It?: It all depends on how well the remasterings sell next year. They're almost certainly going to do well, so realistically, a new Crash game will land some time in 2018 or early 2019. Depending upon when the remasterings are released, you can probably expect to hear about it at next year's E3, if not definitely E3 2018.
