15. Making It To The Final Two - The Division (Survival DLC)

The Division's newest Survival DLC is precisely what the game needed, and had it been there at launch, Ubisoft's New York-based shooter would've been received far more warmly.

That said, now it is in there, Survival plays like some 'Hunger Games meets the post-apocalypse' mash-up, the idea being that you're forced to scavenge and craft every last item as you make your way to a far-off checkpoint amidst punishing weather conditions. There are A.I. enemies to take out, but 24 total players are also looking to close in on the same location...

Alliances will be forged knowing at any moment a betrayal could occur, you'll happen upon other players in the middle of their own dynamic encounters, and as the game reminds you with an onscreen prompt whenever someone dies on your server, surviving until the final two and knowing they're out there... somewhere, is a feeling of intensity it's hard to do justice in words.
