10. The Bad News Level - DmC

After all, it is a series of games that made its name on having a crazy awesome half-demon doing battle against other demons while pulling off truly insane stunts at a mile a minute. Still, even with all of that craziness going on, the Bad News level from DmC takes the cake. It's already confusing enough in that it has you traversing the inner workings of a news channels that is being used to manipulate the views of the residents of Limbo City - especially with all of the weird electronic imagery making it feel like you are literally travelling through the TV screen - but the boss encounter at the end of the level takes the cake. Bob Barbas is the demon running the station and his boss battle basically revolves around attacking a giant floating head while it hurls insults at you. Even in a series like Devil May Cry it seems massively out of place, though it can't be denied that it is also pretty damned entertaining.
