18. Motorstorm Apocalypse
How do you spice up a pretty popular racing game and make it unique? Hm...how about setting it within a city that's constantly being ravaged by cataclysmic events that change the track around you as you play? While other post-apocalyptic survivors are all busy about thinking about food and surviving and stuff, the characters of Motorstorm Apocalypse are much more interesting in very likely killing themselves jumping from one crumbling skyscraper to the next. It's not going to win any awards for its story, but Apocalypse wows at every turn with the destruction that takes place within the city as you play. The game is just completely ludicrous, over-the-top fun, challenging you with winding your superpowered car or other vehicle through increasingly difficult terrain. To this day, Motorstorm Apocalypse remains one of the most unique driving games available.
