9. Far Cry 4's Insanely Early Ending
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnCed-hb53E Sadly, although maniacal monologue-man Vaas became the primary focus of Far Cry 3's ad-campaigns and the personality that drove a lot of sales towards bringing him down, he was completely underused in the main game, bowing out halfway through in a bizarre 'playable cutscene'-style segment that Ubisoft were sure to not replicate in the fourth instalment. Cue Pagan Min, a character voiced by Troy Baker who seemed to be going down the same "I'm just so damn crazy!" route into your heart - until its revealed that he actually has a familial tie to your character Ajay Ghale, meaning if you let him, he'll actually allow you to carry out the reason you're there in the first place; laying your mother's ashes to rest. It comes right after he leaves the room, as he'll politely ask you to stay put - but most gamers' predilections mean they'll cause havoc or get stuck into the millions of things seen possible in the trailers beforehand. However, if you quite literally just stay put, Min will escort you to the burial site, give you some massive spoilers you're not supposed to know until far later on if you're playing normally, let you pay tribute to your parents, and leave in one piece. Brilliant.
