We've known for a while now that BioWare are well into developing Mass Effect 4, and though the game still hasn't officially been unveiled, we did get our first proper glimpse at some of the game's imagery. The featurette emphasised that players wanted to visit new areas of space, and so the new game will apparently focus on that, though the iconic N7 imagery is still present throughout, so we can expect a different story that will nevertheless continue in the same spirit as the original trilogy. Though they provide little insight into the plot, the Drell and Krogan alien races could be spotted throughout the short clip. The visuals certainly look impressive, though we'd be lying if we weren't a little frustrated at the lack of proper gameplay footage, as was a frequent point of complaint throughout EA's rather piecemeal press conference.
