It was at last year's E3 that a new Mirror's Edge game was announced, and though details have been scarce ever since, we know that it's a reboot of sorts, and DICE showed off a developer's diary at this year's E3 to give us a taste of how the game is coming along. Sadly we didn't get to see any actual gameplay footage, though we were treated to "conceptual prototype" clips, which certainly show off the gorgeous potential of the game's animation and combat. The developers note that they have motion-captured parkour artists for the game, and have tried to create an experience that offers players more choice, where a skilled player can take more risks and a less-experienced player can take a safer route. What we saw certainly looked great, though given the lack of concrete gameplay, we won't be expecting to hear much more about the game until next year's E3.
