You hear that? That sharp ringing in your ear? That's the sound of the last few people still so very angry about this game existing 8 years later screaming about it being this high. I'm gonna fall sound asleep to that noise every night from now on.

Skyward Sword is easily one of the most divisive Zelda games ever made. Some think it's really good, others think it's the actual spawn of Satan that deserves nothing less than being shot in a field and left to rot. There is NO in between, trust me.

But look beyond the fanboy whining and you find a fantastic entry in the Zelda franchise, just different enough to stand out while still feeling like a proper Zelda game. After all, Nintendo wouldn't break the mold completely until an entry we'll get to much later. The motion controls, while not the best, were still perfectly responsive if you took your time and actually listened to what the game was telling you. The story had the best version of Link and Zelda's relationship, and the boss battles...are why it's at #10 since yeah, there are some real stinkers there.

Skyward Sword may not be everyone's favorite, but no game that keeps people talking and debating for two years after its release can be all bad. For my money, it's one of the best Zelda games ever made. Fight me, haters.
