20 Best Nintendo Switch Games Of 2017
15. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Skyrim. On a handheld.
As if you needed more, the Switch edition of Skyrim does come with all its older sibling's trimmings, but adds Zelda-inspired armour and weapons, simple-yet-effective motion controls and amiibo support to nab crafting materials faster than usual.
Essentially though - and who hasn't played Skyrim? - this is every frost-caked mountaintop, labyrinthine underground Elven workshop and bandit camp squeezed onto a cartridge, retaining a level of quality across the board that just works.
Incredibly, (and again, it's worth pointing these things out because of how easy it is to assume the Switch is incapable of matching feature parity with the PS4 and Xbox One) load times and graphical clout are far closer to 2016's Skyrim: Definitive Edition, rather than the 2011 original.
A phenomenal port, and yet more proof that the world's biggest developers are fully capable of putting their work on the Switch.
