20 Best Video Games Of 2016
16. No Man's Sky
For as much as No Man's Sky tripped on its own shoelaces, face-planted the floor and took four months to get back up, Hello Games pulled something off that was genuinely innovative and forward-thinking: They crafted an entire universe of content with one sole purpose - to make you realise the true scope and scale of the cosmos itself.
And whilst No Man's Sky absolutely nails the unique feeling of leaving your first planet to see what lies beyond, a couple of recent game-changing patches finally added all the missing features that were sorely missing at launch.
It may have been overwhelmingly disappointing and straight-up lied about in the pre-release marketing, but playing No Man's Sky now is still a fantastic, memorable and individually rewarding experience.
