Bethesda's fifth instalment in their quite literally legendary franchise is easily the best to date, all thanks to providing gameplay systems that are as enjoyable as adventuring through the world itself.
Granted, Skyrim's combat is no Dark Souls, but the sheer freedom you're allowed to be everything from a book-hoarding mage to a Khajiit archer, a hulking Breton warrior or stealthy dark elf assassin is staggering.
It would take you years of game-time to see everything Skyrim has to offer, and that's precisely why millions of gamers still play this 2011-born masterpiece to this day.
