Thermo-nuclear detonations couldn't blow peoples' hair back like seeing Link's newest adventure in 3D for the first time, and that was before those iconic sound effects kicked in, that item-based world progression started unfolding, or this game's story revealed itself to be one of the most heart-wrenching and memorable of all time.

As such, Ocarina for many people, will always be their personal number one for all eternity, and for good reason; thanks to building on every part of its dungeon-crawling, item-hoarding, fantasy-moulded predecessors, Ocarina of Time is still just as playable, just as loveable and just as momentous in retrospect in 2016.
