Was there ever a more broken game than Assassin's Creed: Unity?
To this day, the image of those disembodied eyes, that mouth with those teeth and those lips, haunts my every waking moment. The endless crashing, the indeterminate frame-rate, which would fluctuate drastically before tanking completely, and the sheer consistency of graphical glitches, which would strip characters of their skin, or cause them to move and react in an uncanny fashion.
Sometimes in the dead of night, I find myself tossing and turning in my sleep. In my dreams, I'm back in the game, trying to climb a wall which isn't a wall, but something the game clearly thinks is a wall. I'm stuck and I can't escape, my arms are flailing around behind me and the frame rate is dropping steadily, and now a women is trying to explain something to me, but her face is missing and she's clipping around the environment, and then the game crashes, and I startle awake.
Just another nightmare.
