15. Putting Your Hands Inside Things...
As previously mentioned, there arent that many actual links between the various Silent Hill games, most of which are standalone experiences. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is a reimagining of the original Silent Hill, and Silent Hill 3 is a direct continuation of the story. Besides that, every other game in the series has been very much its own beast, with its own unique characters and motifs.
There are a few consistencies however, one of which being the tendency of protagonists to just shove their hands into random things. Honestly, its ridiculous. Whether its small holes in the walls or disgusting toilets, Harry Mason, James Sunderland, Heather Mason and Henry Townshend will willingly plunge their limbs right in, wiggle around their fingers and grab whatevers inside. They also love jumping down holes too, and just generally doing things that normal people wouldn't ever do.
