20 Classic Nintendo Games That Desperately Deserve Sequels

15. Custom Robo

Custom Robo actually has a modest number of games to its name, with five total. Of those five, however, only two have made it outside of Japan - Custom Robo for the GameCube and Custom Robo Arena for the Nintendo DS. And of those, only the latter ever made it to Europe. That said, the Nintendo DS installment was the last one released, period.

The series is rather anime-oriented, and as you might guess from the title, centers around customizing robots which you use to square off with others in battle arenas, similar to SEGA's Virtual On. Unfortunately, the Nintendo DS title was the only one to feature online gameplay, which is all the more reason we'd love to see this one come to the Wii U.

High-definition anime robots fighting online? Who wouldn't want a piece of that action?
