18. Hector's Wheelchair - The Spotter: Dig Or Die
The Spotter: Dig or Die is a tower defense game with mining and scavenging elements, where you constantly need to dig for resources to prepare for the next wave of mutants.
The game allows you to visit or unearth a variety of different locations to gain materials. However, aside from resources, these areas can also feature easter eggs.
Although in the case of the wheelchair easter egg, you probably don’t want to interact with it, even if you do recognize it.
While out scavenging, you can come across a wheelchair with a bell attached to it. This peculiar combo is an obvious nod to Breaking Bad and its paralyzed cartel boss, Hector Salamanca, but this Easter egg doesn’t stop there.
The bell on the wheelchair is actually interactable, and if you sound it a couple of times, the wheelchair will suddenly explode right in front of your unsuspecting face, in another reference to Breaking Bad’s shocking season 4 finale (for those who still haven’t watched the show, let’s leave it at that).
It’s easy to miss the wheelchair while out exploring, but if you do spot it, the reference is surprisingly in-depth.
