Being able to button mash like a pro is an under-appreciated artform, and International Track & Field is the game that separates the men from the boys. There's eleven events in total in this PlayStation classic and each one requires you to smash the face buttons on your controller until your fingers burn up. It can be challenging even if you're in top button mashing form though; as even the most athletic fingers will suffer intense agony before a single event is over. Add in an extra couple of players and you've got an intense competitive showdown. We all want to show off our strength and endurance whilst also humiliating our friends and peers (probably one of the main reasons athletics exists in the first place, let's be honest) and International Track & Field is a great way to earn bragging rights. It's also available to download from PlayStation Network so there's very little excuse to not get a bunch of friends round and engage in a nostalgic dose of intense button-bashing competition.
I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
