20 Dumb Choices That Will DESTROY Your Game Save
9. Give The Hag Your Eye - Baldur's Gate 3
Baldur’s Gate 3 has a ton of dialogue options that leave a tangible impact on your game.
Just remember that this also applies to the bad choices you make, especially the ones that are blatantly terrible, such as giving your eye to a nefarious hag.
In Act 1, your adventuring party can stumble upon an evil hag known as Auntie Ethel.
Despite using illusions to make herself look like a sweet old lady and her swamp like a postcard from a fairy tale, it’s actually very easy to tell something isn’t right with Ethel, on account of her openly abusing her guest, Mayrina, or her knowing about you being infected with a mind flayer parasite.
Still, whether you see through her illusion or not, the hag will offer to remove the parasite from your head in exchange for your eye. And if you take the deal, it goes about as well as any promise from an evil fey.
Aside from Ethel being unable to cure your condition, the eye she takes from you grants a permanent disadvantage on perception checks and on attacks against hags.
If you’re dumb enough to trust a hag, you deserve to be unable to hit one.
