Nina Williams is an institution in her own right in the Tekken franchise, and for sure one of the strongest female characters in video game history. One of the things that pleases me most about her character is that, while she is kitted out in fairly revealing clothing in the newer Tekken games especially, she isn't overtly sexualised in the same way that, say, Ivy and Taki from SoulCalibur are. There's a little more class going on, and her fighting is a far more defining characteristic than her looks. She is in many respects the prototypical icy blonde, but her caustic nature is demonstrated no better than in her no-nonsense fighting style, which consists more of grapples and throws than standalone attacks. She is also remembered for her rivalry with her younger sister, Anna.
