In 2009, gamers were treated to the phenomenal The Last Guardian trailer, featuring similar aesthetics and an emotional core to Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. The 'guardian' itself was something we all looked forward to falling in love with (before inevitably witnessing its brutal death down the line.) Sadly, the game still appears to be in development limbo, and it's current status is pretty much unknown.
