If ever there was a developer that exuded quality in the 16-Bit era it would have to be Treasure. Practically everything that they touched turned to gold during the period and the Megadrive was the main beneficiary of their magic touch.

For any other developer, Dynamite Headdy would have been the pinnacle of their 16-Bit achievements. For Treasure it will have to settle with second place, though it is still head and shoulders above the vast majority of games on the system.

Set in a puppet world, our hero must attempt to foil the evil Dark Demon using nothing more than his head, which he can use to attack enemies and navigate around the levels. It can also be supplemented with a variety of different power-ups, though some would end up causing more trouble than good.

It's unique, beautifully crafted and simply one of the most sumptuous experiences on the Megadrive.
