Joe Musashi wasn't the only ninja capable of rocking Megadrive gamer's world, as Strider Hiryu proved more than capable of bringing another near-arcade perfect experience to gamers.

Fast and challenging would be the best words to describe Strider and players would really have to bring their A-game if they intended on getting past the first few stages.

Those who persevered got to enjoy one of the most accomplished games on the console and one that is still enjoyed to this day, thanks to the smoothness of Strider's motions and the superbly balanced levels.

Plus, UK fans will get a kick out of how utterly horrendous the box art for the PAL version of the game is, which is an added bonus.
