20 Missable NPCs That Give You Incredible Rewards

16. Col Da Ma Ma Daqua - Disco Elysium

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater
ZA/UM

Disco Elysium is a brilliant RPG set within its own fictional world that is loosely based on our own.

The game's setting tends to lean towards realistic for the most part, but occasionally it makes references to more supernatural and dubious parts of Revachol, such as the Pale and cryptids.

One of these super rare urban myths can even give you an amazing benefit if you manage to find it.

Col Do Ma Ma Daqua is, according to the game's lore, an invisible and incorporeal bird. The only evidence for its existence is its unique song, which produces ultrasonic sounds that can supposedly self-replicate.

For this reason, no one in Disco Elysium's world has been able to hear the creature or even record it.

Until Detective Harry came, that is.

If you ask Lena, the cryptozoologist's wife staying inside Whirling-In-Rag, about invisible cryptids, she will tell you the aforementioned lore of Col Da Ma Ma Daqua.

Afterward, all you have to do is step outside and pass an Inland Empire check to hear the cryptid (or at least that's what Harry believes).

Doing so will unlock the Col Da Ma Ma Daqua thought, which grants you a whopping +3 Perception bonus for your golden ears.
